What's New
- 1/14 - Added the Kansas City
subregional. Also added a quicklink to the
Quarter Mile page (times.dsm.org).
- 12/21 - I added Dennis Grant's
Autocross DSM Pages.
Also, Club DSM Hawaii should
now be back up after having IP address problems.
- 11/14 - The Vendors Page
(vendors.dsm.org) has been completely reworked. You can even add your own
entries for approval by the administrator.
- 9/22 - The Talon Digest Archive Server can now be found at
search.dsm.org.
- 9/20 - The DSM FAQ Locator can now be found at
faqs.dsm.org. The DSM
Product Review pages can now be found at
reviews.dsm.org. The 2G
NT Pages can now be found at 2gnt.dsm.org.
- 9/10 - Rewrote the DSM.ORG domain name alias script so that I can now
easily add new subdomain names. Now all of these names are driven off of a
single IP address, so I can add lots more without running out of IP space.
Added a Club DSM alias for the Parts Trader. Now you don't have to hunt around
for it. It is trader.dsm.org.
If you run a similar site that you feel is worthy of a DSM.ORG moniker, drop me
a note.
- 7/28 - The Thousandth Answered Question
Page of Dr. DSM has been upgraded by Sean Costall.
Please check it out and send me any corrections.
- 4/23 - Somone mysteriously sent me this How-To about
removing some speed
limiter on the 2G FWD turbo.
- Criminy! I thought I was all caught up with what was going on out there in
Club DSM land. While I was updating links, I stumbled upon a number of GREAT
new FAQ and HOWTO pages. Really, too many to add in a weekend! So I'm going to
point to the base pages for a few of them below. Be sure to check them out.
- Tom
Stangl's VFAQs - The site that raised the bar for FAQ quality and coined the
term VFAQ. Be sure to follow the links to yet still more sites at the bottom.
- Brad Bauer's VFAQs
- Brad is giving Tom a run for his money.
How are these cars related?
The Eagle Talon, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Plymouth Laser are siblings
manufactured by a joint venture between Chrysler and Mitsubishi called Diamond
Star Motors (DSM). These cars have
been built in
Normal, Illinois, since
1989.
The Mitsubishi Galant VR-4 shares the same
platform and drive train as the all-wheel
drive versions of the DSM cars, but
were manufactured in Japan. These were limited production cars, homologated for
European rallying.
"The contents of these pages do not necessarily represent the views of
Chrysler, Mitsubishi, or Diamond Star Motors." Hey, they're not paying
me to do this!
